What's new in the MJ zoo?

I have some exciting news to share with you today - Midjourney has just released not one but TWO amazing updates! Are you as thrilled as I am?

First up, we have Niji 5 - a fantastic collaboration between Midjourney and Spellbrush that is heavy on the anime goodness. It's great for animations, illustrations, and more! To access it, simply type in "--niji 5" or select Niji 5 in the settings. And the best part? Niji will be releasing new style updates over the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for more awesomeness

Have a look at a surprising interpretation of some Freda Kahlo in Niji 5

This is the same prompt in V5

A big difference and both are beautiful.

But wait, there's more! We also have the /describe feature, which is perfect for when you're feeling a little stuck or uninspired. Simply type in "/describe"

and select an image to prompt the bot to start thinking.

It will then generate four options of prompts for the image, which can be used as inspiration for your work.

What's great about this feature is that it has prompts both with and without artists names and each name includes clickable links to learn more about the artists. You can also pick up some interesting styles from the suggested prompts.

Just select whichever number prompts you want to test out that sound good.

My original Prompt was "vivacious woman".  Let's have a look at what the /describe results are.

It's not exact but it's pretty good and super fun and fantastic for brainstorming.

So, my lovely friends, go ahead and enjoy these amazing updates from Midjourney.  Have fun creating!
